How To Use
Smooth Self Level can be used to fill existing extensions or on top of the natural nail for a smooth structured gel manicure. It is also a great final layer for any non-self leveling gel, to create a smooth even surface that requires little finish filing. Smooth Self Level can be applied on top of Connect or Connector, or directly on top of a filed and prepped nail. Apply a small bead of product to the nail with your favourite gel brush and watch it start to self level instantly. Gently guide it with your brush until it has leveled into shape, and cure fully for 60 seconds LED/2 minutes UV. *We recommend working 1 or 2 nails at a time, and flash-curing in between. Cleanse the nail with Prep & Clean and finish file to refine your shape as needed. Finish off with any colour or top coat of your choice.

Can I use this Simply Smooth Self Level for extensions? Simply Smooth Self Level was designed specifically for fills and overlays. If you're looking for a self leveling gel with extra strength, give Simply Medium Build a try!
Can I skip the base coat if Simply Smooth Self Level has Connect built-in? Simply Smooth Self Level does have adhesion properties built-into the formula, so yes you can skip your Connect if you want to save a little time. Some clients may need a little extra staying power, so for those clients we recommend applying Connect first as normal.
General Simply System Use
- Begin with a properly prepped and cleansed nail. [If using tips or forms, now would be the time to apply.]
- [Optional Step] For extra adhesion, apply a thin layer of Super Bond to the nail and let air dry for 30 seconds.
- Apply a thin layer of CBS Connect and cure for 60 seconds LED/2 minutes UV.
- With your favourite gel brush, place a bead of Medium Build in the centre of the nail and gently guide it into shape. Remember with self leveling gels, you want to use product to move product. Cure for 60 seconds LED/2 minutes UV. Apply a second layer as needed.
[We recommend using Medium Build for overlays or for short-medium salon-length extensions. For longer extensions, Sculpt Build is recommended and for fills/rebalances we recommend Smooth Self Level.] - Wipe the dispersion layer with Prep & Clean and a No-Lint Wipe and file/buff into shape as needed.
- Apply two coats of your favourite colour or for a natural finish, go ahead and apply your favourite top coat. Cure fully.
7. Cleanse with Prep & Clean (if needed) and finish with Renew & Repair Cuticle Oil.
